Royal Geographic Society's Walk Along The Thames

We were contacted by the Royal Geographical Society regarding a free walk that they hope may be of interest to TSC members.

The RGS produces a series of geographically-themed walks around the UK called 'Discovering Britain' with the aim to encourage people to explore Britain's diverse landscapes. All the walks are self-guided, free and hopefully fun.

They have recently completed a walk that follows the River Thames between Molesey and Kingston. The walk looks at the way this section of the river had been used for work, leisure, and sport. As part of the story It features a stop about Thames Sailing Club. You can find their guide here http://www.discoveringbritain.org/activities/greater-london/walks/river-thames-walk.html which also includes one of Mel's photos of the Raters.

The guide can be downloaded as a PDF or as an audio guide from their website.
