A Paddleboarding Away Day in June

We met up for a breakfast briefing at 09:00 for our 21k paddle to Arundel we needed to kick off at 10:15 top catch the outgoing tide as the flow the river Arun started its 32k journey to the sea. It was high water at 09:00 at our starting point so we let the tide run for just over the hour to ensure we got some benefit of the flow. We kicked off on time for our 3-4 hour ride on the tide to the pub. We completed the paddle in 3.5 hours. We left some cars at the finish point to take the drivers back to collect their cars before we took a leisurely lunch at the pub.
