10 Merlin Rockets compete at our open meeting

One of the biggest turnouts in recent years saw 10 Merlin Rockets competing in the De May Vintage and Thames Series at Thames SC on Saturday May 2. Despite the light and fickle winds there was some good competition in pleasant sunny conditions.

However, a clear winner emerged with Andy Harris and crew Sarah Warren taking three firsts, while behind Rob Cage and crew Hattie Cage competed with Stuart Jenkins and crew Nicola Scadden for second and third, with the Cages comng out second.
