Published 08:39 on 13 May 2014

Hello All,

Well Saturdays cocktail party was funand so was the sail on Sunday!

Just a quick note to say that it was great to see the 5 youngsters racing down at Thames on Sunday morning in Picos and Toppers and it would be great to see you all out again next Sunday putting the pressure on our older members Kevin was also out in his Laser, Chris M and Phillipa in a Merlin and I had a go in a Topper. Thanks to Justin for rigging and Fribbs for casting off so elegantly.

Last Tuesday evening saw a great tussle between Wings and OspreyI still dont know the outcome. great sailing.

Last Saturday Thames SC was represented at the Surbiton Village Fete. We had loads of interest for our up and coming Open Day and the event was great fun. This weekend is the The Seething Community Sports Day, Saturday 17th May, in the Victoria Recreation Ground. Please come along and help hand out flyers for the Open Dayand talk to people about our wonderful club. So come down and join in the fun by representing your Club as part of these great community events and contact me if you can play a part as we do need members to man the stall. It starts at 1pm.

Another reminder for volunteers for our Have A Go Open Day on 7th June, which was such a huge success last year This event will soon be on us so please bear this in mind. We need sailors, back and front of house help, as well as meet and great, administration etc. etc Please watch out for further emails regarding the Open Day.

Thank You.
