We found the perfect Sunday, great weather and a spring outgoing tide for our trip down the Thames and into London. We kicked off from the club and paddled our way from Surbiton to Putney and beyond

We paddled from TSC to catch the outgoing tide from Teddington down past Eel Pie Island, through Ham, over the Richmond, half lock weir, under Kew Bridge, past Chiswick & Mortlake, under Hammersmith Bridge, past Barns and the Wetlands, Craven Cottage and on to the Putney embankment some 23km downstream. With the help of the spring tide, we did the paddle in record time of 3.5 hours

The Starship Crew : - Brian, Terry, Jim, Ian M, Ian G, the single paddlers were :- Matt, Piotr, Sarah, Pierre, James & Jamie"
