Thames Sailing Club is recognised by the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) as a Training Centre where Adults and Juniors can learn to sail or race, and gain nationally recognised RYA certificates if they achieve the assessed standards.
Anyone and everyone can learn to sail, young and old, whether they are sporty or not. It is not very expensive to learn, and you don’t need your own boat or have very much specialist clothing or kit to get started.
At Thames Sailing Club we run a variety of courses in the Spring season from our base on the river at Surbiton. In addition we run a concentrated five day course at the end of August, which suits some families.
