TSC runs two main courses per year, in Spring and Summer. Next dates are 26th & 27th April and 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2014. Adult courses and courses for children will both be available. For adults - the course follows the RYA syllabus for Level 1 and 2. For children - the course follows the RYA Youth syllabus for Level 1 and 2. There are two further levels in the youth syllabus levels 3 and 4.

Sunday morning 23rd March. Cold, Cloudy and a bit dim, the lower hard had a few tumbleweeds flying about, then surprise surprise 4 Merlins popped out their covers and prepared themselves for racing. The race officers set a dog leg course which was seen as a little controversial whilst Brian did some ferrying about with the B mark that kept drifting off because of the stream, but a couple of extra weights soon fixed it.

A Met office amber alert has been issued for very high winds in London and the South East on Sunday night and Monday. Saturday 28 th September saw the annual Three Club Burgee team racing event return to Thames Sailing Club. Merlin Rockets from Minima and Tamesis arrived around midday and the visitors were treated to bacon and sausage sandwiches and a warm Thames welcome. The weather cooperated with clear skies and a good Force 2 to 3 blew throughout the event with occasional lulls in the wind to reinforce the home team’s advantage. Race Officer Kevin Pearson
