  • TSC Sailing Annual Regatta and Open Meeting - Saturday 28 and 29 June

    Thames Sailing Club is proud to announce that our Sailing Regatta will be held this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday 28/29 June. Racing Schedule: Saturday : Race 1 @ 2.00pm Sunday : Race 2 @ 12.00pm Sunday : Race 3 @ 2.00pm (approx) There  are Four Classes for the Regatta: -

    Merlin Rocket Vintage and Open regatta

    Thames Sailing Club  Merlin Rocket Weekend  Sat 14th & Sun 15th June This Saturday is the Vintage Merlin Rocket Open Event.  In the evening we are hosting an informal BBQ for all racers, supporters and family & friends - please email to book in.   Racing starts at 11:00am - please download the Notice of race below.     Interested in learning to sail or wanting to improve your sailing skills? Then come along to Thames Sailing Club’s  ‘Have a Go’ Open Day on Saturday 7th June 2014 from  11am – 4pm and let us take you out on the River Thames.   • Obituary notice Daphne Davies

    It is with great sadness that we inform members of the death at the age of 92, of Daphne Davies, who as Daphne Cheers, wife of Desmond, was a long standing member of the club. Daphne was known for her extremely pleasant nature, and a dress sense which pushed boundaries and reflected the “sparkle” in her character.  All are welcome to attend the funeral which will be on Monday 9th June @ 1000

    Hello Everyone.  There has been a fair turn out for racing over the last couple of weeks, however it could be much better, I counted 11/12 Merlins (give or take) on the lower hard last Sunday...wrapped in canvas.   • Racing Report - April 14

    Well, last Sunday saw Chris M and Saul sail to victory in blustery conditions....the competition spent time removing barnacles from its hull....we shall say no more!.... This week saw the return of Tuesday night sailing. The weather was and sunny which made the beer afterwards thirst quenching.
