Extraordinary General Meeting
Thames Sailing Club, Portsmouth Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT64HH
Tuesday 19th August 2014 at 20.30hrs.

Dear Member,

Notice is hereby given of an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of Thames Sailing Club to be held at the Clubhouse on Tuesday, 19th August at 20.30 hrs.

The resolution to be put to the vote is:

Are the members content for the Club to submit an application for planning permission to further develop and improve the facilities of the Club."

Plans showing the proposed development of the Club will be available on the Club website from 12th August.

After the Tuesday evening supper, which on this occasion will be a buffet style supper, presentations will be given at the EGM to:

show how the proposed development meets the results and requirements of the last survey of the membership;

show an indication of the phasing of the development;

provide a status report on the situation with the grant award;

outline the likely funding requirement and indicate how the necessary funds might be raised.

NB: Only members who have fully paid up subscriptions for this year will be eligible to vote, so, if you have still to pay, please do so in good time.
