Ferry and Sea Scouts Update

You may have noticed the cream coloured ferry boat which has been moored at the downstream end of the lower hard for some weeks. The ferry is in the possession of the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) and is being moored temporarily at TSC with the full consent of the General Committee. The ferry is being kept secured to the lower hard with a padlock and chain. However, you may see the ferry being used by RBK representatives and or representatives of the 1st Surbiton (Sealion) Sea Scouts to access Raven's Ait.

Additionally, the General Committee has given the Sea Scouts temporary permission to use TSC for the storage of boats and other equipment in the event of any emergency relating to their use of Raven's Ait.

As a general rule, if you see any non-club members on site and particularly on or in the vicinity of the ferry then please do take the time to say hello and politely ask them what they are doing. Remember, they could be potential or new members. If you have any queries or concerns about the ferry or the Sea Scouts then please contact Justin Dunn or Ian Pratt respectively.
