Christmas Draw, Auction and Supper – Friday  8th

One of the club’s major annual fund-raising events is this Friday! All proceeds go to the club coffers so we would encourage all members to attend and to bring friends with deep pockets! We also need more draw prizes and auction entries. Ideal items for the draw might be bottles of wine, unwanted gifts, etc. You should have received in the post a coloured paper sheet divided into rectangles. Cut these up and fill in your name for the draw. Entry to the draw is 50p per ticket

For the auction we need lots more higher value items and pledges are always good. Are  you prepared to be someone’s slave for the day? Or take the winning bid to an event? Bring all contributions with you on the night.

Supper is available on the night for £7.50 per person and will be Lasagna, Salad, Garlic bread and Dessert. This is your very last reminder as supper needs to be booked today (Call Phillis on 01932 245503).

Children’s Party –  Saturday 9th

For an early visit from Santa book your kids for the Children’s Xmas Party this Saturday between 3pm and 5pm. Again please book with Phillis on 01932 245503

Christmas Lunch – 17th December

The Christmas lunch will be served at 1.30pm. Adults pay £12 and children £5. This is a popular event so book early to ensure your seat. Once again contact Phillis on 01932 245 503.

Tuesday Suppers

There will be no Tuesday suppers on the December 19th and 26th and January 2nd. However, subject to demand, the Vice-Commodore or another volunteer may arrange delivery of a take-away.

Use of the Changing Rooms

For all members working on boats or around the club this winter please be aware that the water to the toilets, basins and showers in the changing rooms has been turned off until the spring. The washroom facilities within the clubhouse are of course still fully-functional
