Thames Sailing Club
Sunday 26th brought a hive of activity dowm at the boat sheds as members prepared for the start of the 2006 sailing season.
Two new training boats have arrived (and look very smart indeed, if a little yellow) but need sorting out.
The rater sheds are now full of sanding, varnishing, filling, drilling, lifting and moving of boats while outside dingies are being similarly refreshed or (in my case) rigged for the first time.
Nick has sorted out the padlocks and strops for added dinghy security (Susie and Ian were the first recipients of the fine brass objects for their now shiney Merlin) as well as fitting carpet to protect the more delicate of boats as they are pushed into the river.

I've spent some time with gelcoat sealing up my Laser, but far more time learning how to rig it, so it now really feels like we'll be on the water soon. I hope to see you all out there as soon as possible.
Jason Mullins.
