London Youth Games
We are delighted to announce that eight of our Cadet members will be representing the Royal Borough of Kingston in the London Youth Games 2009 Sailing Event which takes place at the Victoria Dock in London this coming Saturday 13th June 2009.
The Kingston Team which is entirely composed of TSC Cadet members took part in a five hour training session at Wimbledon Park Watersports Centre last Sunday along with teams representing the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Merton.
All TSC members are invited to attend the event as spectators and to show support for our cadets. The first race will be at 9am and prize giving will be 6:15pm and the event will feature races in Optimist, Laser Pico and RS Feva classes of boat.
Thames Sailing Club proudly wishes the Team and Team Manager Susie Scotcher all the very best for what promises to be a hugely enjoyable and successful event. Go Cadets!
