Electronic Diary for 2009
We have put together a couple of electronic diary files for you to import key dates into your Computer Calendar of choice
The two 'calendars' are
- Social and Major Regatta dates
- General Series dates
They have been created separately so that those of you who have less interest in the specific series dates can skip these and only load up the more significant dates
The two files are available from the links below
Upload Instructions:
Click on one or both of the links above and save the corresponding files on your own computer
Outlook
Select File | Import and Export | select 'import from iCalendar or vCalendar file'. Click Next
Navigate to wherever you've stored the calendar files. Click Ok
Apple Mac
Select File | Import and Export | select 'import from iCalendar or vCalendar file'. Click Next
Navigate to wherever you've stored the calendar files. Click Ok
Click on the Calendar option at the top, then click on the 'Add' option under 'Other Calendars', which reveals a dropdown menu, including 'Import Calendar'
This gives another screen, where you can browse to where you've stored the .ics file, leave your calendar selected at Step 2, then click on 'Import' as Step 3
Yahoo
Only seems to work with the new Yahoo Calendar Beta
Either create a new calendar, or edit an existing one
If you create a new one, you appear to have to save the details first, before you can access the import buttons/fields
Hover over the calendar name on the left hand menu, and then Click on Edit Calendar when the pop-up appears
Click 'Choose File' and browse to where you've stored the .ics file and select it
Click Upload. You should see that on the address bar there's a response saying how many events were imported
Make sure that calendar has a tick in the check box next to it on the left hand menu, and you should then see the TSC events appear on the calendar pages
