A straw poll at the club has led me to believe that some people don’t think they are getting enough for their money. As from next week the portion sizes will be larger but I would like to point out a couple of things;
First. Because people are so lax about letting me know if they want supper we cannot be sure of what numbers to cater for. Hence, sometimes Jeanette has only, say, 6 on the list and is then trying to stretch the food she has to a much larger number. To book dinner either put your name down on the list on the Tuesday before or the Sunday or contact me on 07773 404 887 or gillcryer@hotmail.com.
Second. Please, if you want more, ask! If there is any Jeannette is only too happy to see the food used.
So, please come and support the club and have your supper on Tuesday evenings and if you have any
comments about them please let me know. It’s very difficult to read your minds sometimes!
Another piece of information – you will notice that the dinner on 29th July is Curried Goat!
This is a one off – never to be repeated – offer. Jeannette is on holiday and her friend,
Briony, who was born in the
good turnout for this unusual meal, so please let me know if you want to book a place as soon as
possible so we know how much goat to order.
And finally! On Tuesday 5th August we are short of a chef so if there is anyone out there who would
like to have a go (I will pay you!) then please let me know.
